REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- For the first time in the history of the subsidized fertilizer program, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has officially reduced the maximum retail price (HET) of fertilizers by up to 20 percent, effective from October 22, 2025. This historic move coincides with the one-year anniversary of President Prabowo Subianto's administration and was carried out without increasing the subsidy budget from the APBN, but rather through industrial efficiency and improvements in the management of the national fertilizer distribution.
