Pork exports from Paraguay rose more than 500% until September

At the end of the first nine months of 2023, Paraguay exported 4,308 more tons of pork, since the total volume shipped reached 5,080 tons. Compared to the same period in 2023, this figure represented an increase of 558%, since 772 tons were exported in the previous period. In terms of FOB value, there was an improvement of 593%. In the third quarter of this year, USD 12.8 million entered, USD 11 million more than the income of the same period in 2022, when USD 1.8 million were generated. The encouraging scenario of the international market has motivated the recovery of pork shipments.
