Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, Denis Marchuk, stated that potato prices have stabilized at around 23-25 hryvnias due to imports. The import of vegetables has increased the market supply, helping to stabilize prices for various crops. However, weather conditions have negatively impacted vegetable production, leading to significant losses of beets, carrots, cabbage, and potatoes in some areas. The onion harvest was also affected by heavy rainfall, resulting in a lower quality offer on the market. Despite these challenges, Marchuk believes that imports will partially offset these issues.
