The Brazilian poultry export sector experienced a positive surge in February, with a notable recovery in China's demand following the Lunar New Year holiday and loosened Covid-19 restrictions, as reported by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). The country's poultry and edible offal exports in the first eight days of February saw an increase in revenue and volume compared to the same period last year, generating US$ 260.31 million from 140,338.68 tons, which accounts for 44.41% of the revenue and 41.34% of the volume from February 2022. The average daily revenue and the price per ton paid have also increased significantly, showing a resilient and recovering sector from earlier challenges.
