The Sicilian production of netted melons comes to life. The situation is still critical for tomatoes, with high prices in particular for cherry tomatoes. Strawberry prices are also on the rise, with growing demand due to high temperatures: stationary for asparagus. Thanks to the agreement with Italian Electronic Merchandise Exchange (Bmti) and Italmercati we are publishing the fruit and vegetable prices at the wholesale markets as at 8 May 2023.
