Producers: Cheap Albanian cucumbers flood the markets

During one of the largest trade shows for fresh fruits and vegetables in Southern Europe – FRUIT ATTRACTION 2025, which concluded just days ago, there was significant interest in the Bulgarian stand, organizers reported. "Retail chains from Western Europe are interested in our produce, at the Madrid show there was demand from the Dutch and the British, but they want serious deliveries of large quantities, and we do not have cooperatives that can provide such goods," shared the executive director of the Bulgarian Association of Greenhouse Producers (BAPPOP) Teodora Krasteva for Agri.BG. Her personal goal is to unite greenhouse produce producers so that when there is a request for Bulgarian goods, a response can be made.
