With the technical support of the Ministry of the Environment (Minam), eleven organizations of deforestation-free coffee producers generated business opportunities worth more than S/20 million, both in the national and international market. These organizations participated in the business meetings of the 2025 International Specialty Coffee Fair of Peru (FICAFÉ), held in Amazonas. According to the director general of Economy and Environmental Financing of Minam, Elvis García Torreblanca, 11 coffee organizations participated in the national business meetings, generating purchase intentions worth S/10.7 million; additionally, 6 of them participated in the international business meeting generating purchase intentions worth S/9.8 million for foreign buyers.
