Vietnam has seen a decline in cashew nut exports to China, its third-largest market, due to China's adoption of global standards and strict food safety management. This has affected many Vietnamese exports, including cashews. To address this, the Vietnam Cashew Association (VINACAS) is providing support to members and has obtained an export code for all VINACAS members. The association is also proposing the establishment of a Working Group to assist businesses in exporting to China. Long-term strategic plans are needed to tap into the Chinese market and implement the trade agreements signed between the two countries.
