Rapeseed processing in Ukraine has exceeded exports.

In September 2025, the domestic processing of rapeseed in Ukraine reached record levels, as 250 thousand tons of the crop were processed in one month. This is reported by APK-Inform. This volume for the first time in a long time exceeded the monthly export of rapeseed, which amounted to 236 thousand tons. At the end of September – beginning of October, a slowdown in trade was observed in this sector. The main reason was the expectation of a decision regarding the mechanism for exempting soybean and rapeseed producers from the 10% export duty. Amid this uncertainty, the supply of rapeseed on the market noticeably decreased. A number of processors reported low arrivals of rapeseed to enterprises and the likely completion of its processing and transition to sunflower, stocks of which were successfully accumulated in September.
