According to statistics from the Customs Department, in the first nine months of 2025, dragon fruit exports brought in nearly 2.77 billion USD. Specifically, in September, the export turnover soared to 972 million USD, a sharp increase of 44.6% compared to the same period in 2024, marking a monthly record high. China remains the largest traditional market, spending 960 million USD to import Vietnam's dragon fruit in September, accounting for 98.8% of the total dragon fruit export turnover for the month. Cumulatively by the end of September 2025, dragon fruit exports to China reached 2.59 billion USD, representing 93.6% of the total dragon fruit export turnover of Vietnam. Besides China, dragon fruit exports to other markets also recorded strong growth compared to the same period last year.
