Rasip Agro, a unit of RAR Agro & Indústria, based in Vacaria (RS) and one of the largest apple producers in Brazil, invested in the rental of 300 million bees, which will act in the pollination of 1,500 hectares of orchards. For the 2025 harvest, there will be more than 5,500 hive boxes, with about five colonies of Apis mellifera bees per hectare. The flowering cycle of the apple trees will begin in the second half of September and is considered one of the most important periods of the production process.
