Peru: Requirements for importing corn seeds from Serbia approved

The National Service of Agrarian Health (Senasa) has established the mandatory phytosanitary requirements for the importation of corn seeds from Serbia. According to Directorial Resolution No. D000031-2024-Midagri-Senasa-DSV, published on August 29 in the bulletin of Legal Standards of El Peruano, the requirements are as follows: of Legal Standards of El Peruano, indicates that it must be as follows: -The seeds come from production sites or seedbeds registered by the National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) of the country of origin. -The seeds come from plants that have been officially inspected by the NPPO of the country of origin and, through analytical techniques (PCR), are free of: Wheat streak mosaic virus, Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis, Fusarium poae, Microdochium nivale and Sclerospora graminicola. -The seeds are free of: Attagenus unicolor, Oryzaephilus mercator, Trogoderma glabrum and Trogoderma versicolor. -The seeds are free of: Amaranthus ...
