Rubber plantation Chư Păh 49 years steadfast in development, affirming its pioneering position

On October 15, in Chư Păh commune (Gia Lai), Cao su Chư Păh Joint Stock Company solemnly held a ceremony commemorating 49 years of construction, development, and 40 years of establishment. In attendance were Mr. Dương Mah Tiệp, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyễn Quế Dương, Deputy Director of the State Enterprise Development Department (Ministry of Finance); and Mr. Lê Thanh Hưng, General Director of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group. The predecessor of Cao su Chư Păh Company was the Ninh Đức Rubber Plantation, established in 1976, based on the takeover of 220 hectares of rubber from the old regime. After enduring numerous hardships, the people faced harsh weather in the dense, untouched forest, constant malaria, and many were unable to withstand it, leaving for other places to live.
