Russia has seen a significant increase in the export of flour and cereals, with a nearly threefold increase compared to the same period last year. The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia attributes this increase to a 5.3% rise in production, reaching approximately 6.9 million tons from January to September. The main importers of Russian flour include Georgia, Afghanistan, and Turkey, with Georgia and Afghanistan showing the highest increase in purchases. Preliminary calculations estimate that flour exports for the first 10 months of the year reached about 632 thousand tons, a significant increase from the previous year's 165.1 thousand tons. Additionally, buckwheat exports have also seen a increase, with 15.279 thousand tons exported in the first nine months of the year, compared to almost 6 thousand tons in the same period last year.
