According to the Russian Agricultural Products Export Development Center, from January to October 2025, Russia exported 134,000 tons of poultry meat to China, with an export value of 381 million U.S. dollars. During the same period in 2024, the export volume was 116,000 tons, with an export value of 346 million U.S. dollars. The export volume in 2025 increased by 15% year-on-year, and the export value increased by 10% year-on-year.
According to the report, from January to October 2025, the most exported poultry meat products from Russia to China were chicken feet (281.7 million U.S. dollars), followed by chicken wings (66.9 million U.S. dollars), turkey parts and by-products (30.5 million U.S. dollars), duck parts and by-products (1.1 million U.S. dollars), chicken by-products (551,500 U.S. dollars), and whole frozen turkey (86,000 U.S. dollars).
The report indicates that from January to October 2025, Russia's poultry meat export value ranked second among all countries exporting to China, only behind Brazil (795 million U.S. dollars), and surpassed Thailand (350 million U.S. dollars) to become one of the top two.
On March 18, the Russian Agricultural Products Export Center told the satellite news agency that according to preliminary statistics, in 2024, Russia exported over 8.3 million tons of agricultural products to China, with a total export value of approximately 7.4 billion U.S. dollars. Among the agricultural products exported from Russia to China, the largest export volume was rapeseed oil (13%), followed by barley (10%), sunflower oil and peas (each 8%), and soybeans (7%). China became the main importer of Russian agricultural products in 2024 and has maintained this position for two consecutive years.
On November 6, the Director of the Russian Agricultural Products Export Development Center, Ilya Ilyushin, stated that China is the main importer of a series of agricultural products from Russia. Ilyushin pointed out that China is the main importer of Russian grains and legumes, oil products, dairy products, meat, confectionery, food and processed products, fish, and seafood.
