Barley exports fell by 46.6%, from 306,000 tons in the same period last year to 163,000 tons; corn exports decreased by 77.3%, from 62,000 tons to 14,100 tons. In August, Russia's grain exports decreased by 35% year-on-year, with wheat exports down by 33%. In early September, there were 23 buyers of Russian wheat, down from 53 in the same period last year. Previous major buyers such as Algeria, the UAE, Kenya, and Vietnam have disappeared from the importer list. The top buyer was Egypt, with 358,000 tons, but this is a 40% decrease from the 595,000 tons in the same period last year.
