Saffron bulb harvest begins in Safranbolu

In the Safranbolu district of Karabük, the harvest of saffron bulbs has begun, which help multiply saffron, one of Turkey's most valuable agricultural products. In Safranbolu, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is synonymous with saffron, various projects are being carried out to increase saffron production. In this context, the "Lavender-Scented Saffron Garden" and "Saffron on the Path to Branding" projects, implemented with the support of the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA), draw attention.
