Jeju Seogwipo Fisheries Cooperative (Chairman Kim Mi-ja) recently announced that they held a '2025 Core Village Officer Leadership Enhancement Workshop' together with the Korea Fisheries Management Association (Acting President Kim Sung-hyo, Senior Vice President) at the main building's 2nd floor large auditorium. The Korea Fisheries Management Association is an autonomous cooperative of Korean fisheries management professionals, contributing to the construction of a prosperous welfare fishing village through fostering mutual friendship among members, management rationalization, and the enhancement of rights. As of 2022, it has approximately 31,000 registered members distributed evenly across the country, making it one of the largest organizations in the fisheries industry.
