[Livestock and Dairy News=Reporter Kim Sinji] The Seoul Milk Cooperative (Chairman Moon Jin-seop) has demonstrated the growth potential of the A2 milk market as its 'A2+ Milk', launched in April last year, surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 82.5 million units. Despite the challenging internal and external environment of the dairy industry, marked by rising production costs and sluggish consumption, Seoul Milk attributes its success to the strategy of betting on 'high-quality raw milk' as the core of its milk. The A2+ Milk is a premium white milk launched last year after Seoul Milk invested approximately 8 billion won over five years with the aim of increasing domestic milk consumption. It is separated and collected from milk sourced from cows with the A2 protein genetic trait, containing only A2 protein and boasting a cell count of the highest grade.
