Signs of nitrogen and phosphorus starvation are observed in winter rapeseed crops in the central and southern regions. The reason is the sharp fluctuations between day and night temperatures, which slow down the intake of nutrients by the plant. Serhiy Kornyushenko, the manager for the development of agricultural technologies in the Southern region of LNZ Group, notes that in such conditions, an effective solution is foliar feeding using complex fertilizers. One of the proven options, he says, is DEFENDA Makro at a rate of 2 liters per hectare.
