Russian grain exports to China have more than tripled since the beginning of 2023, making China one of the top five countries importing Russian grain. The increase in exports is mainly driven by soybeans, peas, corn, flax seeds, rapeseed, barley, and oats. The success of joint collaboration between Rosselkhoznadzor and the General Administration of Customs of China has led to an annual expansion of the grain types and Russian regions allowed to supply the Chinese market, with efforts underway to further increase export potential.
