The soybean market at the Chicago Stock Exchange experienced slight highs on Monday morning, with quotations rising between 0.50 and 2.75 points in the main maturities. The market also saw increases among oil futures. However, attention is still focused on the conclusion of the South American crop, with concerns about adverse weather conditions in Argentina and Brazil. Ginaldo Sousa, the general director of the Labhoro Group, has warned that if rains fail in Argentina in the first half of March, the crop could come below 30 million tons. Brazil is also facing challenges with its harvest due to incessant rains in some regions.
