Uruguayan goods exports reached US$ 1.325 million in June 2025, a 4% increase compared to the same month of the previous year, according to the latest report by Uruguay XXI. Total sales for the first half of 2025 amounted to US$ 6.451 million, also a 4% increase compared to the first half of 2024, according to a report prepared by Valor Agrícola. While soybeans remained the main exported product during the past month of June, with sales of US$ 336 million, it recorded a year-on-year decline of 3% due to a drop in price per ton and a decrease in purchases by China, its main destination.
