Spain and Mauritania Strengthen Their Fishing Cooperation for Responsible Resource Utilization

The Minister of Agriculture, Fishing and Food, Luis Planas, and the Minister of Fishing, Maritime and Port Infrastructures of Mauritania, Fadhili Sidaty, have discussed various aspects to consolidate and strengthen fishing collaboration between both countries during the High-Level Meeting (RAN) held by their respective Governments in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott. Luis Planas, who has accompanied the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, along with six other ministers on this trip, has underscored that the objective of cooperation between both countries is the responsible use of marine resources, respect for sustainability principles, and the creation of economic benefits for both parties.
