Sri Lanka Ambassador Kadurugamuwa invited ATO members to the Sri Lanka Expo 2026.

Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Ankara, Niluka Kadurugamuwa, visited the President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO), Gürsel Baran. Recalling that a target of $500 million in trade volume between the two countries was set, Kadurugamuwa invited the delegation, which will consist of ATO members, to the Sri Lanka Expo 2026. Baran noted that there is a long history of relations between Sri Lanka, referred to as the pearl of the Indian Ocean due to its geographical shape, and Turkey, and that they aim to move these positive relations into the commercial and economic sphere.
