Kazakhstan's oilseed stocks have increased to 2.57 million tonnes as of January 1, 2025, up from 2.52 million tonnes the previous year, according to the Bureau of National Statistics. The country's sunflower seed stocks have significantly risen by 33% to 1.52 million tonnes, while soybean stocks have also increased to 78,000 tonnes. However, the stocks of other oilseeds such as linseed, rapeseed, and safflower have decreased. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported a 46% increase in the gross harvest of oilseeds, with sunflower harvest increasing by 35% to 1.686.2 million tonnes.
