A debate was held by the Gyeongnam Agricultural Cooperative Regional Headquarters and the Gyeongnam Export Agricultural Cooperative Council, in which local agricultural cooperative export managers suggested that local governments should also support export logistics costs for agricultural cooperatives that export oversupplied agricultural products, such as onions, garlic, radish, cabbage, and green pepper. They argued that this would help control domestic supply and demand and provide support for prices. The meeting also highlighted the need for swift government measures to prevent the departure of exporting farms following the complete abolition of export logistics support in 2024.
