Tacna: Olive production work to be mechanized with atomizing pump tractors

The Regional Directorate of Agriculture Tacna (DRAT), through the Olivo Project, incorporated five atomizing pump trucks that will improve the tasks of fumigation, washing, and phytosanitary control in the 13 demonstration plots located in La Yarada Los Palos, Sama, Magollo, and Bajo Caplina. These machines, which replace the old sprayers, will allow for a reduction in the use of pesticides, cover larger areas, and optimize production costs, increasing the efficiency of technical work in the field.
