Task Force on Rice Prices Intensifies Supervision
As of November 7, the government's rice stock reached 3.92 million tons.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Task Force for Rice Price Control has increased its supervision over the distribution and price stability of rice across Indonesia. As of November 6, 2025, more than 5,000 monitoring activities have been carried out, with an average of 800 monitoring points per day across 38 provinces and 514 regencies/cities. These efforts are part of the government's measures to maintain the availability and affordability of rice, in line with increasing national production. The supervision is carried out jointly with the National Police, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Food Agency (Bapanas), Bulog, and local governments. Head of Bapanas Andi Amran Sulaiman said that inter-agency coordination is continuously being strengthened to ensure smooth rice market operations and distribution.
