As you know, Spain is the world leader in the production of olive oils in the world. In the last campaign, 2021-2022, we see that Spain produced 1.5 million tons of olive oil, which accounted for 66% of all production in the European Union and 44% of the world total. But that leadership also extends to the world trade in olive oils. In that campaign we sold a total of 1,674,800 tons. Of that amount, we exported just over a million tons and some 600,000 tons were sold in Spain. This means that our olive oils have captured 52.5% of world demand, estimated at 3,188,000 tons.
