The 2nd Olive Oil Tasting Festival FestOlive has started in Edremit.

The 2nd Olive Oil Tasting Festival, FestOlive, organized in collaboration by the Edremit Chamber of Commerce and the Edremit Trade Exchange, began with a grand opening ceremony on the Güre Beach in Edremit district of Balıkesir. The festival aims to promote Edremit's fertile lands and world-renowned olive oil, as well as to highlight the hard work of the region's producers. As part of the organization, visitors had the opportunity to taste different varieties of olive oil and closely experience Edremit's deep-rooted olive culture and the unique flavors of the Aegean. Speaking at the opening, Edremit Chamber of Commerce President Ahmet Çetin said, "Welcome to the FestOlive 2nd Edremit Olive Oil Tasting Festival, where we come together to share the bounty of olives, the power of labor, and the healing of nature.
