The agricultural sector grew by 5.5% between January and October of 2025.

The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) reported that the agricultural sector registered a growth of 5.5% between January and October 2025, compared to the same period in 2024. This result was due to the increase in production in the agricultural subsector (+6.6%) and the livestock subsector (+3.6%). The main products that increased their production in that period were: olive, which grew significantly by 1173% (in Tacna and Arequipa due to favorable conditions for cultivation in the 2024/2025 campaign compared to 2023/2024), and blueberries +27.9% (greater production area and optimal climate in La Libertad, Lambayeque, and Ica).
