Dr. Hoda Ragab, Director of the Center for Contract Agriculture, has been traveling across Egypt to promote the cultivation of maize, soybean, sunflower, and sesame crops in several governorates. This initiative aims to provide raw materials for oils and fodder, with the goal of increasing self-sufficiency in natural oils and reducing import costs. During her meetings with farmers, Ragab explained the benefits of contract farming and the commitment to marketing these crops at fair prices. She also highlighted that contract farming contracts have been distributed to agricultural associations to be passed on to any farmers interested in participating.
