A Panama-flagged ship, Navi Star, carrying over 30,000 tons of corn from Ukraine has arrived in Istanbul, Turkey. It is the first of three ships to leave Ukraine and is en route to Ireland. The other two ships, Rojen from Malta with 13,000 tons and Polarnet from Turkey with 12 tons, are expected to arrive soon. The condition and safety of the cargo will be inspected by representatives from the UN, Russia, Ukraine, and Turkey before the ships continue their journey through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits.
