According to Mr. Dang Phuc Nguyen, Secretary General of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, compiled from Customs data, in September 2025, the export turnover of fruits and vegetables is estimated to reach nearly 1.294 billion USD - the highest ever. This figure increased by 36% compared to August 2025 (951 million USD) and is 41% higher than the same period in 2024 (917 million USD). In the first 9 months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports will exceed 6.11 billion USD, an increase of 8.3% compared to the same period in 2024. If the growth momentum is maintained, the fruit and vegetable industry can close the year 2025 with results far exceeding the 7.1 billion USD mark of 2024 and approach or exceed 8 billion USD.
