The General Authority for Supply Commodities in Egypt is receiving 240 thousand tons of dry bulk, including wheat and sugar, through ports Alexandria, Damietta, and Safaga. Recent shipments include sugar from Brazil and wheat from Russia and Romania. The Ministry of Supply has contracted Solaris Commodities, CERAL CROPS TRADING LLP, Vitra, and Aston Company to supply a total of 770,000 tons of wheat, valued up to $185 million, with deliveries scheduled until the end of September.
