In the referendum held between October 22 and November 12, 2025, 94.12% of the participants supported the continuity of this program, thus meeting the majority requirement established for its permanence. The first handlers and importers who handled or imported 500,000 pounds or more of fresh mangoes between January 1 and December 31, 2024, were eligible to vote.
