[Rural and Fisheries Products Newspaper=Reporter Nara Park] The Chungnam Branch of the National Institute of Agricultural Products Quality Management (Branch Director Lee Seung-han) held a meeting with consumer organizations on the last day of last month to strengthen policy communication and discussed the on-site achievements of agri-food safety management and the establishment of a cooperative system. The meeting was attended by representatives from seven consumer organizations, including the Daejeon YWCA, the Daejeon-Sejong Consumer Public Interest Network, the Daejeon Metropolitan Branch of the Central Consumer Education Association, the Daejeon-Chungnam Consumer Federation, the Daejeon Metropolitan Branch of the Korean Women's Association, the Daejeon Branch of the Korea Consumer Education Institute, and the Daejeon YMCA. At the meeting, the Institute shared the main tasks and policy achievements being carried out as an on-site-centered agricultural policy institution and performed the function of private surveillance.
