From January to July, China's national supply and marketing cooperative system purchased 110.27 billion yuan of agricultural products from poverty-stricken counties, with e-commerce sales in these areas increasing by 32.2% to 13.48 billion yuan. The government has established an agricultural product sales platform to help poverty alleviation, which has supplied over 5,000 merchants and exceeded transaction volumes of 2 billion yuan. The system is also aiding over 1 million poor households through consumer poverty alleviation zones and plans to provide e-commerce training for 50,000 people in poor areas.
