Between January and August of 2025, Peru registered 7835 exporting companies, reflecting an increase of 4.6% compared to the same period of 2024 (7490), reported the Center for Research in Economics and Global Business of the Association of Exporters (CIEN-ADEX). According to the Export Companies Report-August 2025, micro-enterprises (4,413) represented 56.3% of the total; small businesses (2,656) 33.9%, large businesses (526) 6.7%, and medium-sized businesses (240) 3.1%. Together, SMEs accounted for 93.3% of all units. By FOB amount ($55,640 million), large companies led with $52,061 million (93.6%), followed by small businesses (4.2%), medium-sized businesses (1.9%), and micro-enterprises (0.4%).
