The Observatory of Agricultural Prices and Costs of the Northwest Zone of the Colombian Caribbean (OPCA) has reported a decrease in the value of milk paid to producers in February, continuing a trend since October. The producer and marketer price index for raw cow's milk in the departments of Córdoba and Sucre fell for the second consecutive month, along with the amount collected and the price without nominal and real bonus. However, the price with bonus grew nominally. The collection by the industry was down by 521,000 liters compared to the previous month, with the national real price continuing to decline, losing purchasing power.
