EDİRNE (İHA) – The Free Rice Hulling Plant implemented in the Küplü township of Edirne's Meriç district has brought joy to the producers. The people of the township now convert their own produced rice hulls into rice using the free machine and directly bring it to their tables. The project initiated by the Küplü Municipality of Edirne's Meriç district has both economically benefited the producer and strengthened local production. The plant, established under the leadership of Küplü Municipality Mayor Gökmen Altay, provides great convenience to the township residents who stand out with their rice hull production. The modern machine, set up next to the municipality building, not only performs rice hulling but also sorts the rice into long, short, and broken grains according to quality.
