Russia has seen a 20% increase in grain and processing product exports compared to the previous year, reaching 40.9 million tons as of January 28, with the top 10 exports making up 96% of the total. These include wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, and sunflower meal. There has been a notable increase in the export of barley, soybeans, peas, and rapeseed. In response to rising food prices, the Russian government has set a quota for the export of certain grains and introduced an export duty on wheat, soybeans, and products outside the EAEU to supply local processing industries.
