The Russian government has approved a list of agricultural goods for export with payment in rubles

According to a presidential decree, as of November 1, for contracts for the supply of Russian agricultural products abroad, a special settlement procedure is allowed - payment in rubles through special accounts. The order approving the list of such products was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin. The decision aims to ensure the financial stability of Russia in the conditions of external sanctions pressure. The list includes pork, poultry meat and offal, milk and cream, barley, corn, wheat and milling, soybeans, linseed, sunflower, soybean and canola oil, sugar, as well as cake and other solid residues obtained during extraction of fat. A record contract for 25.7 billion dollars for the supply of Russian grain to China Special "Z" accounts in rubles and foreign currency, opened by foreign buyers in authorized banks, can be used for payments for the supply of such products.
