The sunflower harvest in Dobrich region concludes with over 170 kilograms per decare.

The sunflower harvest in the Dobrich region remains to be completed only in Tervel municipality, data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food cited by the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency show. The average yield for the region is 172.2 kilograms per decare. The highest sunflower yields are in Dobrichka municipality – 190 kilograms per decare, and the lowest is in Tervel municipality – 150 kilograms. Farmers in Dobrich and General Toshevo municipalities harvest 180 kilograms per decare. Around 120,457 decares of corn remain to be harvested by farmers in the region. The planted areas with the crop are 662,714 decares, with 542,257 decares harvested. The average yield in Dobrich region is 217.1 kilograms per decare. The corn harvest is finished in Dobrich, Kavarna, and Shabla municipalities, with farmers harvesting 190, 220, and 239 kilograms per decare, respectively.
