The Peruvian Association of Mango Producers and Exporters (APEM) has reported that the United States and Europe are the primary markets for Peruvian mangoes in the 2023/2024 campaign, with over 80,000 tons exported. The Netherlands, the United States, and Spain were the leading importers, accounting for nearly 72% of the total exports. The industry has seen a dramatic 68.42% decrease in volume sold due to climate change, despite efforts for commercial diversification to countries such as South Korea, Chile, and Russia. The top exporters are Camposol, Sunshine, Dominus, and Jumar Perú, and the top importers include Camposol Fresh USA INC, Camposol Fresh BV, Amazon Produce Network LLC, and Natures Pride BV. The quality of Peruvian mangoes has been commended for their excellent food safety standards.
