Alabama Catfish from Alabama obtained a $342,000 contract, providing 76,000 pounds of channel catfish fillets at a price of $4.50/lb. Consolidated Catfish secured a $437,600 contract to supply 80,000 pounds of ready-to-heat breaded catfish strips. Channel Fish from Massachusetts secured a contract worth approximately $696,000 to supply 75,999 pounds of frozen Alaska pollock fish sticks and 77,799 cases of frozen pollock fillets. The delivery period for the above products is from January 16 to June 30, 2026. On November 25 of this year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released a 17-page bidding document mentioning that the government will procure over 960,000 pounds of Alaska seafood products, but not all bidding projects were successful.
