The bilateral trade value of agriculture between India and the U.S. is approximately $6.6 billion in 2024. Seafood (mainly frozen shrimp) remains India's largest agricultural export to the U.S., with an export value of $2.8 billion in the 2025 fiscal year, accounting for nearly 40% of the total $7.38 billion in exports to the U.S.
From April to October in the 2025-26 fiscal year, seafood exports grew by over 16% to $4.87 billion.
