Grain supplies to external markets in the current season will amount to approximately 50 million tons. Under favorable weather conditions, Russia will harvest record volumes of soybeans, rapeseed, fruits, and berries. The vegetable harvest is expected to be at the record level of 2024, and potatoes are expected to be 5% higher than last year. This was reported by the head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Oksana Lut, in her report to President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with government members. Moreover, according to her, by October 15, grains and legumes have been harvested from 91% of the areas, with a gross harvest of around 132 million tons. By the end of the year, the Ministry of Agriculture maintains its forecast of a grain harvest at 135 million tons in net weight.
