The harvest of major oilseed crops in Russia (taking into account all regions) this year will amount to 32.6 million tons (in 2024, according to Rosstat, 28.6 million tons). Of these, sunflower seeds will be 17.4 million tons (16.9 million tons), soybeans will be 9.4 million tons (7 million tons), and rapeseed will be 5.8 million tons (4.7 million tons), writes "Interfax" with reference to the analytical center OleoScope. According to the company, as of November 7, oilseeds have been harvested from 87% of the areas, with over 30 million tons of oilseeds collected, which is almost 1.5 million tons more than a year earlier. In particular, sunflower seeds have been harvested from almost 85% of the areas, with the harvest approaching 16 million tons.
